Sharing Stories

collaboration with Special Attention Project

The  photographs on the right were taken by the young people themselves, facilitated by Eric Gyamfie, photographer.

Multikids collaborated with SAP (an organisation that supports out of school children who are living on the street).

We put on an event at the British Council (thank you to the BC who donated the space) where parents of street children could share their stories. Click here from more information about SAP

Multikids works in partnership with Teachers Beyond Borders to support the children and staff of the Accra Psychiatric Hospital.  We facilitate specialist input in the special school inside the hospital grounds (CAROSS) and the Children's Ward and we also offer a weekly Integration Programme for some of the children at the Multikids school site.  This input includes direct intervention from a range of therapies and training for teachers and care givers.

Multikids secondary students work together with the students of CAROSS to make beautiful murals on the hospital walls.

Sarah Hardy, Art teacher planned an amazing project as part of the CoPE programme . This and other murals were the outcome of weeks of hard work from both Multikids and CAROSS
